My Boots Are Made For Hiking

Yesterday, I decided to get out of the city and go hiking. I went North to Ray Roberts Lake and State Park. It only took one revolution of The Cars Greatest Hits to get there. The trail that I wanted to hike on was rained out, so I had take another trail. It was longer, but it was paved. That was kind of a bummer, but whatever works. The wildflowers and the cacti were blooming. The sky was overcast. It was really relaxing. I walked about 6 miles. There were some people around, but not enough to bother me. I saw a Golden Retriever that I swear was a bear. After my little walk, I sat and stared at the water and read for a little while.
