Taste Addison 2006

Aubrie and I had a hum-diddily-do of a good time last night at the Taste Addison. We had no traffic getting down, but we got a little turned around with the parking. We got in pretty easy because we bought our tickets in advance (always thinking!). There was a lot people there. We were both very happy we didn't have to go tot he bathroom! We went to the Red Brick Pizza stand and by the time we got to the front of the line they were out of pizza. So we got some ice cream and came back. By the time we got all our food, Hootie and the Blowfish started playing. We went by the main stage and inched our up close to the stage. We had a great time making fun of drunk people and singing along. They played some new songs which thinned out the crowd. Everybody loves covers and they played 3. The covered Cheap Trick's "Surrender," The Violent Femmes' "Add It Up," and The Commitments' "Mustang Sally." The Go-Go's play tonight but I think one time a year is good enough for me.
