CARP Reunion!

I missed all my Carpenter peeps, so we decided to have a reunion.  Many of us have scattered since I left Carpenter in March.  Dorian and Steve went to Oak Point and Tommie moved to Liberty.  We all met at the new Chuy's in West Plano.  At first they said it was an hour and a half wait!  But just as we were going to leave, they called our group.  It was really nice to have the gang back together.

Tattoo Fest

We have been waiting for this day for at least the last 5 years. Ever since I met Tommie Briggs, he has been talking about getting a tattoo. The image has changed a lot over time, but he still was sure he wanted one. Finally, after a few foiled attempts to get one, Tommie wen to Ink Inc. in McKinney to get it done. Dorian decided that he would get one too. Trey, Coffy, and I came along for entertainment value. The tattoo artist, Rob, was really good. He was a nice guy and had good ideas for both of their tattoos. There was a little girl named, Lucy, running around the shop. She was so cute stealing Rob's tips and giving them to Tommie. They both said that it didn't hurt. But I did see some blood on Dorian's. Who knows, maybe this will be their new thing and they will get a dozen more!

Are You Ready For Some Flag Football?

Last night we went to go see Tommie's flag football team play at Hoblitzelle Park. Stephanie, Coffy, Sandy, and I went out to dinner first. We were going to eat at the Palm Cafe, but it had closed down. So we ended up at Boston's. The food and service were horrible. I don't really think I would recommend it to anyone. The game started at 8 PM. It was so cold and windy! I was prepared with blankets and jackets. Bryan met us there. Tommie's team ended up losing. I don't even know what the score was. It was a fun and different way to spend the evening.

I wish I would remember to bring my camera to our outings lately. I guess that is what happens when you get made fun of for taking too many pictures!
